It's Friday Night Lights season!!!
The North Star Bearcats will have their first football game of the season on Friday, August 23. They will be playing Hatten-Northwood Thunder in Hatton starting at 7:00 PM.

Wednesday, August 28th is picture day. Picture forms were sent home with students today.
Both individual and class pictures will be taken, so watch for these options on the order form.
All pictures are taken with a green screen and the appropriate background will be added as needed, so please do NOT wear green as this may cause issues with your pictures.
Bring your smiles and your picture forms on Wednesday, August 28th.


Elementary Girls Basketball starts Monday, August 26th.


Leeds School welcomes all their students back for the 2024-2025 school year. Reminder, the first day of school is Tuesday, August 20th for all students grades K - 12.
Preschool runs full days, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Their first day of school will be Wednesday, August21st.
School hours are from 8:20 AM to 3:20 PM. The school doors will open at 8:00 AM. No entrance will be allowed prior to this time. Students arriving to school after 8:20 AM will need to check into the office as all doors will be locked. Reminder, there is no supervision outside prior to 8:00 AM and after 3:20 PM.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 8:20 each morning. Elementary students should go to breakfast right away after checking in with their teachers if they are eating.
Reminder, the south side of the school is closed to through traffic during school hours to allow our busses to safely drop off and pick up students. Please park on the west or east side of school when dropping off students. Reminder, there is NO parking in the loop.
Drivers, please be cautious as students will be walking and riding bikes to school.


Leeds School Open House is tonight from 5-7 pm. We hope to see you there! We are asking that any new rural students and any in-town families that will be riding the bus , please contact the school so we can update our bus lists. Thank you.

Leeds School is looking for a part-time custodian to work afternoon or early evening hours. Contact the school at 701-466-2461 if interested.

Free and Reduced Lunch Applications can now be submitted for the 2024-2025 School Year. All applications must be completed online at schoolcafe.com. Sign up is easy and it will walk you through the required information. Grace period ends on October 1st, 2024, so finish your application to ensure continuation of benefits.

Reminder, Leeds School registration is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
All 7 - 12 grade students are asked to attend to register for classes.
The office will be open to pay for any fees and lunches.
Any new students can come to the office and register for school at this time too.


Leeds School has a few items we are looking to sell. A 1992 Dodge 350 van with 142,467 miles on it; an antique looking bookcase/storage unit; and a used milk cooler that does work. Contact the school office at 466-2461 if interested and make us an offer.




Maintenance continues to touch up waxing areas throughout the school. To limit the amount of traffic, the school will remain closed for the remainder of the week (July 29 - Aug. 2). It will be open to staff only at this time.
Front lobby door and elementary south door will be chained shut at this time as no entrance is allowed in those areas. Other doors in the school will be open to staff members.
Staff, please watch for signs throughout the week for other areas of the school that will be closed off due to floor wax.
Thanks for your patience. The maintenance staff has been hard at it all summer getting our school ready for another great year and things are looking great.


2024 - 2025 Supply Lists
These lists are subject to change. Items may be added to the list or need replenishing throughout the year. Your child's teacher(s) will communicate this with you.
All students should have a backpack to carry items to and from school each day.
High School students should have a notebook and folder for each class along with pens, pencils, etc.
The school receives donations from area businesses and families throughout the year. Should any families need support with school supplies, please contact Mrs. Eberle at the school.
