Our 3rd annual Curling Week is almost here! Tuesday, the JH needs to be at the school by 8:00am. Wednesday, the Fitness class and Freshmen need to be at the school by 8:00am. Friday, the JH, Freshmen and Fitness classes need to be at the school by 8:00am. Remember your curling gear, shoes, water and money for eating out. It's going to be a great time on the ice!

Lady Wildcats Schedule Changes:
January 27th: BCW vs. Kenmare in Maddock. JV starting at 4:00 followed by varsity.
January 29th: BCW at Warwick. JH starting at 4:30 followed by BCW JV taking on Warwick's varsity. Our BCW Varsity team will not be playing this night.
January 31st: BCW Vs. Lamoure @ Jamestown High School. 4:00 PM. Varsity only. No Concessions. Game added due to the change in the varsity scheduled due to Warwick's game change.

We have been notified by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction that Leeds Elementary School is ranked in the top 10% of all North Dakota public schools (total of 289 schools) based on North Dakota accountability indicators. These indicators reflect important outcomes related to student achievement, growth, engagement, and readiness. This distinction reflects the collective efforts of our educators, school leaders, and staff, and the meaningful, positive impact the work we do has on students and families. During the month of December, our first graders spread Christmas cheer as they took turns bringing home a bit of holiday magic! Each student chose a special friend—Santa’s Elf, Mr. or Mrs. Gingerbread, or the Santa Sloth—to spend the night with them.
Along with their holiday buddy, students enjoyed a book to read together, a coloring page, and a writing activity to document all the fun they shared. The next day, they proudly brought their friend back to school to share their adventures with classmates.
✨ Best of all, each student got to keep their special holiday friend as a keepsake and memory of this magical experience! ✨

Leeds School will be 2 hours late tomorrow. If the weather does not improve school will be cancelled. No virtual learning. IF cancelled, we plan resume school as normal on Friday and high school finals will be completed on Friday.
