Sending a reminder about the Back-to-School open house tonight from 5:30-6:30 pm. Meet the teachers, drop off school supplies and pick up the Back-to-School packet at the office! Classes begin on Wednesday!
BCW Girls Golf is off to a great start!
This year, five girls from Leeds make up the Benson County Wildcats Girls Golf Team, and all five are also participating in another fall sport! They have been busy juggling golf practices and meets around their other practices, but they are already showing great improvement.
The team scored 571 at their meet in Bottineau and improved to 530 today in Dunseith — a 41-stroke improvement! Even better, every girl lowered her individual score!
Great job, girls! Keep working hard and improving each time you hit the course!

We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! It's hard to believe that we're just one month away from the start of the 2026–2027 school year. We are excited to welcome our students and families back to Leeds Public School!
✅ School supply lists are now available! Please see the attached lists for your child's grade level and start gathering supplies for the new school year.
Grades 7–12 Reminder: In addition to any class-specific supplies, students should bring:
✏️ Folders and notebooks for each class (typically 6–7)
✏️ Pencils, pens, highlighters, markers, and colored pencils
🧮 Scientific calculator
👟 Physical Education clothing and shoes (see PE supply flyer)

• August 24: Open House (5:30–6:30 PM)
• August 26: First Day of School
🎒 Preschool Families: Beginning this school year, preschool will meet Monday through Thursday, full days, with no classes on Fridays. We are excited about this new schedule and the additional learning opportunities it will provide for our youngest students.

1. Route Bus Driver-morning/afternoon or both. Pay is $60 each for AM and PM route for CDL drivers AND full single Health Insurance paid if driving full-time both routes. Training will be provided.
2. Boys Basketball coaches-need to fill 2 positions on staff

The Leeds School gym will be closed starting Thursday, June 18th for floor refinishing. There will be no entry until July 1st and/or when it is completely dried.

🎉 Last Day of School Information 🎉
Tomorrow is the final day of school at Leeds School! Students will enjoy games and fun classroom activities throughout the morning as we celebrate another successful school year together.
📍 Schedule for the Day:
• 9:30 AM – Graduation Practice for all Seniors and band members.
• 10:20 AM – 11:00 AM – K–12 Awards Ceremony
• Lunch will be served following the awards ceremony
• 12:30 PM – School Dismissal
We will not be holding our traditional end-of-year picnic this year. In past years, it has taken a significant amount of time to serve everyone, and unfortunately a large amount of food was left over and went to waste. We appreciate your understanding.
Parents who would like to take their students home following the awards ceremony are welcome to do so. Please check in with the classroom teacher prior to taking your student. High school students who do not wish to stay for lunch may be dismissed following the ceremony as well. However, any students riding the bus will need to remain at school until dismissal time.
