Welcome! I am excited to be back in Leeds for my 11th year as the Social Studies Teacher. I hope to continue to build our students’ knowledge and foster their interests to be even better this year!
I am originally from Grenora, ND and have lived in North Dakota my whole life. I am beginning my 15th year in education and have been teaching Social Studies for 14 years. My teaching career began in Grenora where I was a long-term substitute. My first Social Studies classroom was in neighboring Wolford for three years before I came to Leeds in 2015.
My life is busy with my family, which includes my husband, Tyson, and our five children ages 2-15. We live on a farm north of York with our German Shepard, Molly and our St. Bernard, Barney. In my free time I like to read, watch reality TV, and listen to podcasts.
Check out the new school website, www.leeds.k12.nd.us, and use our new school app by searching for Leeds School, ND. These two sites are connected, and the school app will be our messaging system to contact families via the app, text, phone call or email about school events, storm days, emergencies, etc. You can always reach me via email at stacy.follman@k12.nd.us or call the school 701-466-2461 ext. 208.
WE STUDY HISTORY TO UNDERSTAND THE PAST,
ENGAGE IN THE PRESENT,
AND BRIGHTEN THE FUTURE.
